Good Reading for Mothers

I have been reading two wonderful books for mothers. All About Raising Children by Helen Andelin, the author of Fascinating Womanhood. And, Home by Choice by Brenda Hunter.

These books are soooo informative and educational. My eyes have been opened to how extremely powerful a mother is in the life of her children.

I am not finished with the books yet, but when I am I cannot wait to share a more detailed review of the books, and what I have learned from reading them.

Take care everyone!

Another fabulous book I read along these same lines is called The Mission of Motherhood: Touching Your Child's Heart for Eternity by Sally Clarkson. It gets 5 star reviews on amazon. I LOVE this book it is so FULL! We mom's need constant reminders of such truths.

I have just found your blog and have enjoyed reading. I have over the years enjoyed many Mothering books.
I have never found these ones though.
Sally also has some other books on mothering. J. R Miller also has a great book(I can't think of the name now)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Blessings

I look very forward to your posts about these books, God willing. I have found these books to be extremely informative and helpful, too.

Fascinating Womanhood is one of my all time favorite books and is referred to often. I would love to find a copy of her childrearing book, but it seems to be out of print. Please let me know if you know where I can find one for a reasonable price.
